Studio Visit Magazine
I'm excited to announce that two of my fine art photographs will appear in Volume 21 of Studio Visit magazine, among a selection of international artists chosen by Dina Deitsch, Senior Curator at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln, MA. Studio Visit is a series of juried artist books produced by the publishers of New American Paintings and sent to curators and gallerists throughout the country as well as collectors and art enthusiasts. It's an honor to be included!
Limited-Edition Fine Art Prints
I've begun offering selected photographs as limited-edition fine art prints. Each is released in an edition of ten prints, hand numbered and signed. The photographs are printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Deckle Edge 308gsm FineArt paper using pigmented UltraChrome HDR inks from Epson. A Certificate of Authenticity with a numbered holographic seal is included with each print and registered at MyArtRegistry.com to assure its genuineness.
Hand-Crafted Photography
My platinum/palladium prints were featured in a three-person exhibition during October at Lawrence Street Gallery in Ferndale (MI). Over the last couple of years I've been learning more about this vintage photographic process that's over 100 years old and produces prints with rich black and gray tones. In the early 1900s, it was the most popular technique for amateur and pro photographers alike to make prints. Click on the video player to watch a preview of the exhibition. |
Photograph Wins Gold Medal Award
My photograph “Cattail” was the winner of the prestigious Gold Medal award in the 97th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition at Detroit’s historic Scarab Club. The award is the Scarab Club’s highest and most esteemed prize presented to its members, and this marks the first time it has been given for a photograph. The winning photograph of a cattail was taken in the studio with a single strobe light and a black background. | ![]() |
